18th October - Programme Pick Up

The next pick up is Sunday 18th October 2pm to 3pm at Lambton Village Centre

  1. Collect ingredients for our Ready Steady Cook Night by booking in here. If your scout has any dietary requirements, please enter them as you book into the activity.

  2. We'll also issue you with a voucher to collect a Pumpkin for our Spooky Spectacular. We're really proud that we've teamed up with Brown's Fruit and Veg in the Galleries, Washington. Simply take your voucher to Browns and exchange it for a pumpkin.

As ever, we'll post links to the activities so that if you can't make our virtual sessions, beavers, cubs and scouts can still have a go at home.


If you can’t pick up for any reason (isolating or shielding for example) or if you need to make alternative arrangements, please book and then get in touch with your section leader.


12th /15th October - Creative Creatures

For cubs and scouts who couldn't make our online meeting, click here to find out what we got up to.

Enter our competition by sending in a picture of your Creative Creature to beavers@4thwashingtonscouts.org.uk, cubs@4thwashingtonscouts.org.uk or scouts@4thwashingtonscouts.org.uk or you can use our upload link. Best creation per section wins a prize.

If possible try and send a picture that has both the creature and the young person - we love to see our young people having fun!

Your next pick up is two for one - next Saturday you can collect materials for our Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Creative Creatures nights (5th October and 8th October / 12th and 15th October)

  1. Book here to collect the materials you need for programmes weeks 2 and 3. Your pack will contain ingredients you need to join in our Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Creative Creatures nights.

  2. Pick up is 10am Saturday 3rd October (Booking Link) If your scout has any dietary requirement, we'll collect these details as you book.

We launched our latest programme which can be downloaded here.

We also confirmed our arrangements for returning to virtual scouting due to the high volume of reported corona virus cases in the area. As ever, keeping our members and their families safe is our top priority.

We use Google Meet for our meetings, this can be accessed at meet.google.com. If you use an Android or Apple device as your main device, you will be asked to download the App from the Apple Store.
