Life is an Adventure

Our scout troop is incredible active and enjoy an outdoor and adventurous programme, with a new activity every week which could be anything from abseiling to zorbing, street sports to geocaching.

Scout have the opportunity to attend an international adventure every year with the local district as a well as joining 1,000 other scouts at Durham County's Confido event.

Scouts also have the chance to learn some fantastic life skills such as teamwork and leadership which help them to develop as individuals, members of the local community and members of the worldwide family of scouts.

About Scouts

Scouts is the third section in the scouting family and is for girls and boys aged 10-14 years old. Scouts gain badges throughout their time in the troop and work toward's their Chief Scouts' Gold Award, the highest award a scout can gain.


4th Washington Scouts meet Monday nights 7:15 to 8:45pm at Lambton Primary School.
